Valerie Chua’s WATERCOLOR WORKSHOP

I came in as an assistant/guest for Valerie Chua’s workshop last March 24, 2012!!!! The whole session was a great experience since I’m a newbie with watercolors!!!! The lessons were really planned out to be easy and quick and all the materials were provided. Students could interact anytime and was at ease because Val made sure that everyone could get a hands-on teaching. Although you might be a little afraid to enter the session because you’re not good at drawing/ can’t draw then you’re wrong! The workshop introduces the basics of the basics in watercolor painting and for sure if you know how to use a make up or a pen, you’ll just do fine. BTW! There’s a new session, so if you’re free I highly recommend this workshop!

I absolutely love the new work Val has made for this month’s Designare Magazine! Her signature style is so beautiful at par with the model pictures. Wish I could grab one copy of the magazine!

Valerie Chua; Backyard of the Universe SOLO EXHIBIT

First of all, a big congratulations to Valerie Chua for a successful exhibit launch last November 23, 2011 @ LRI Design Plaza!!! Despite my hectic travel time and the challenge to bring a 2 feet flower bouquet inside a gallery (i hate you manong guard for not helping me) , I had a fun fun fun time! The paintings were so beautiful, the venue was so lovely! Food was great! The music was really inviting us to buy but really Val, you finally did it! We are so proud of you! woot woot! ♥♥♥

Thanks to Heima, we had a great time enjoying Val’s exhibit. Plus! Here are some photos from the guests! Actually, it was my first time wearing something so girly, not corporate girly but girly! haha

totally unrelated to my previous posts but i tried attending the Bloggers United event last may 27, 2011 (but failed to come early due to friday traffic). i was hoping to see Val’s booth to show some support but i came at 7:00 PM. ngecks! haha although i did purchase some make up and tried to spot (stalk) famous bloggers XD here’s me and kim manalo, my awesum classmate from college, taken by tricia from the event! yey! my long time fashion/photographer idol! yeeee~ :) *fan girl mode!
